A isn't my thing, B very much is (albeit more for its groove than for the song).

Hmm. Peak Maiden, or, something else… Nothing against the Isleys. Ernie has his moments, but COME ON! MAIDEN!!!

I wouldn't quite class this as prime Maiden, can't remember what album it's from, but my 13 year old self would have loved it, and it still has a lot of energy. Good vocals.
B has good vocals, but is beyond boring. Slides out of the speaker like a roofied sloth, and goes on interminably.
A, for the goobers, apparently

B is great for the samples taken from it, but the actual song is meh..A is not prime maiden, but it's enough..Vote A

Ooh...feeling very mixed about this. I adore the period of the Isleys just before this - this is edging into 80s slickness a bit too much for me. Almost anything from The Heat is On or before would have likely clinched my vote. This is a bit of a disappointment, as nice as it is to see them. Just (slightly) the wrong era.
A is 'not my thing'/'good for what it is.' I can't get behind it enough to vote for it, as tempting as it is. The vocals and (particularly) the guitar solo are a bit cliché too, though there may be some 'tongue-in-cheekness' involved here.
I honestly can't decide. I'll be back.
EDIT: It's not fair of me to punish a pretty good track for not being a great one. B is just the better song. Even if it's self-parody to a degree, A is loaded with clichés both musical and lyrical.

I was hoping I'd like both of these more than I actually did. A's main problem is the bass tone that almost ruins the whole thing for me, and the trouble with B is that it's deathly boring. I'll give it to the tune that could be fixed with a remix.

I was tempted to let the metalhead in me win, but overall A just isn't strong enough.
B is a veering dangerously towards slick, bland and cheesy, but has great singing and kept me interested until the end

I love that Isley's groove. That repeated hook is exquisite. A isn't my kind of metal.

Sorry, but I have never been able to get pass the preposterous aspects of this heavy metal era (singing cliché, guitar players who seem to be paid by the note, stupid imagery,...) and IM is the paradigm of that.
Love everything I've heard by the Isleys and this is no exception.

I get Maiden but I don't really like them that much. I like Isley's but never that one in particular.
