I wish i could get more excited about these, A is kinda tough going but B is just pleasant fluff.

A band formed in Brizzle and certainly more interesting than the shit that came out of there in the 90s (the Heads excepted). This is a fine old thrash, not sure what seems to have got up (almost) everyone else's nose. And I won't argue with their verdict on Exeter, considering two of them grew up there, and I used to live nearby. Interpol, really? Sleaford Mods, really??
I'm partially with Occupants here, there's some nice work in the instrumental passages, but the vocals are soppy pants, and bring the whole thing down. A by some distance

The CaB Oscillations sub forum is a strange place. There’s a handful of incredibly in depth threads, full of interesting titbits, lovingly curated, on old TOTP’s or number one hits. The rest of it THO - fucking hells bells! There’s one poster, a real Colin Hunt of a bloke (no not HODGSON who, you’ll be relieved to know, gets as much friendly interaction there as he did on BCB) who plasters the place with his abysmal bad taste. The one thing he has got right is his hatred of this lot.

Some good bits, some not so good.

A has the earnest cynicism of provincial punk in its heyday. It's something I've long since burned out on but it's better than whatever the fuck B's on about.
