A is OK. Some interesting textures in there, as the draper said to the nun.
Ivor Cutler used to give piano lessons to a friend of mine! I love him and think this is a great pick.

A is not my thing. i like the cutler track and agree it's a nice pick. i saw him in an art gallery in archway road when i used to live near there. i didn't go in, but walked past as he was sitting in a chair all illuminated wearing his pearly king garb. quite a weird sight.

Well this storms along nicely, although I could have done without the male vocals, which seemed to suck the juice out of the arrangement for a while, but on the whole, I liked this, and could even imagine listening to it again
Ah, my favourite Jewish Glaswegian outsider artist, comedian and poet. Not to mention the only musician I know of who was a leading light of the Noise Abatement Society. I've been a fan since the early 1960s, when he was on late night radioarts shows on occasions, which I listened to under the covers on a tiny transistor. His comic monologues and his paintings are often touched with genius, but - and you knew there was a 'but' coming, didn't you - his songs I always found a bit hit and miss. This one, a love poem to Phyllis, fellow artist and companion of several decades, is in the latter camp, very slight, and the wheezy harmonium does it no favours.
Surprisingly, to me, it's A

Ibibio
Reading their wiki - Ibibio Sound Machine is a clash of African and electronic elements. The band claims their sound is inspired in equal measure by the golden era of West African funk and disco, modern post-punk, and electro - would suggest a wilder, more dynamic offering than the one we get here.
Ivor
Lovely.
