A's surprisingly not bad for all its retro hokey-ism. I wish they'd have a grittier sound, but I guess that's because I'm really only used to The Monsters/Lightning Beat Man in the European psychobilly stakes. As far as revivalism goes, I think it's on a bit of a winner.
B isn't as studiedly retro, but it also doesn't try to do anything new either. But in and of itself it's quite pleasant, in a Chairs Missing kinda way. Despite my dislike of bands who don't do anything new, this has been a surprisingly good tie, and I think I'll throw a bone to this, because I prefer Wire to rockabilly.

Not thrilled by either but I'll give it to A for shoving that "Steppin' Stone" riff in there.

Didn't care for either of these much but the lesser of two evils is A.

was all ready to vote for the Nomads' edgy guitar sound, but then along came a Modern Lovers soundalike.
Enjoyed both of them... B I think

Nomads
Revivalism was fine when the original records weren’t available but now they are. Prolly pretty fine live but, fuck, what kind of goober likes gigs?
No Age
Wipers groove plus Jonny Richman/Gordon Gano dweeb vox = No Age. Alright if you like the stink of a dead artform.

Utterly nonplussed by either...
B, I guess, because at least I had something to watch.
