B No Age - Turned to String

The Nomads were pretty cool, especially for a retro act. B isn't as bad as I remembered No Age to be, but it isn't good either A

B current tune from last year for a board that does not recognize anything not at least 25 years old.

wow, I expected to go Nomads but that "echo" thing - it's really bugging me today. good thing B is a nice jumpy tune and comparatively free of echo.

Really don't care for either of these. A seems to have a little more to it. B isn't too bad for something completely hookless and devoid of any interesting harmonic or melodic character.

B current tune from last year for a board that does not recognize anything not at least 25 years old. But there's nothing contemporary sounding about B at all, so your criticism doesn't make any sense.

You statement/pedantry has nothing to do with engaging in conversation.

You statement/pedantry has nothing to do with engaging in conversation. Well you're the one who continually feels the need to put in digs at other posters in their comments, not me. What does it matter if it was released last week, if it sounds like its forty years old? It's a perfectly valid question to ask.

`fraid G's right. B could be from any time this side of 1980. Not necessarily a bad thing, but in this case it features nothing to claim its non-existance would be noted. I did like the Nomads tune, it goes for the right amount of variation just when I thought it would be a one chord track. Nice echo too. A

Both fine. Limited in good ways, kicking up sand, roughly similar.
I prefer

A's a toe tapper! They capture a powerful performance and that's the point I guess. B was okay, but a bit formless.

both ok and quite similar in their retro appeal.
A as an anti-Gav vote.

Closest draw of the "N"s.. The Swedish garage has good life to it....I like a lot of what No Age puts out..Have seen them a few times live, so no issue with the choice..Going with the first track, if only because it's what I was in the mood for this morning Vote A

Similar aesthetic at work here and i have enjoyed both. Maybe like B a bit more.
