To be clear, that cunt wouldn’t have a career unless he was an adorable chubber

I'm not as cavalier as I once was with throwing around words like "fat cunt" to describe someone (almost always a despicable politician - see: Rob Ford or Trump) after an overweight friend called me out on it. It hasn't diminished my life in any way.

A couple of years ago, I became aware that something called 'Fat Studies' exists in the madder corners of American higher education.

who could take offense at "adorable chubber"?
I could go about 12 different directions on this. Celebrities deciding how people are allowed to talk about them is a point that often rankles with me.
having said that - he's talking to fans. he's being polite and, since he's a guy he probably won't be accused of being "shrill" so..
good for him (more or less)

We need one of those 'a friend of mine worked with him once and said he was sweet' type posts - otherwise this makes him look like an entitled big baby. At least naive. Famous person OBVIOUSLY loses a lot of weight - people are going to comment. And actually in this case it's likely to be complimentary.

What if the weight comes back? I think the point is that while it’s meant as a complement that it still hurts your feelings in a way.
