Well, the four I saw were all pretty great. (I'm guessing I have a higher opinion of Nomadland than most here.) I should probably see First Cow and the Sparks one.
A very Uncut list, though, isn't it? Not quite a list of music films, I guess it's sort of a checklist of things their readership is supposed to care about. Maybe actually reading their reasoning might make it make more sense, but like with most of these lists I'd welcome a surprise or two.

Their end-of-year music lists were so upsetting I couldn't even be arsed to post them.
Dreadful, dreadful times

Their end-of-year music lists were so upsetting I couldn't even be arsed to post them. Dreadful, dreadful times For the last decade or so I've struggled to name a list of more than half a dozen albums per year that I've really liked. Most of the stuff I've discovered that's new to me is old blues, jazz and classical. I stopped reading Uncut and Mojo a long time ago. No interest at all in what they do now.

I'm glad knowing there are younger listeners casting wider nets but it feels so "been there done that". I mean they are trying to sell stuff to people with different frames of reference than me. It seems redundant. it was fun while it lasted. we'll always have Paris.
I'm speaking of the magazines in general. that movie list looks pretty good.
