Bit of a nip in the air , what is your go too wooly ? V neck or crew neck ? Maybe a button cardigan or one of those technical layers from north face ?

I keep meaning to get a nice wool sweater (crew neck), but haven't gotten around to it yet. I'm currently wearing a heavy knit long-sleeve t-shirt type thing. It's not very attractive or stylish but it's keeping me warm as I'm sitting here looking at a couple inches of snow that fell over night.

I have a thre-quarter length black cashmere zip-up cardigan, four or five cotton round-necks of various colours, an outsize white V-neck wool cable-knit cricketer's jersey made for me by Chip's late mother (who died in 1987, so it's not exactly cherry, but still functioning), a multi-coloured wool round-neck, and a couple of for-best long sleeved ones, merino and silk mix, that kind of thing. Almost all of these were given to me: never bought one new, maybe one or two from a charity shop.
I don't wear them all at aonce, obvs, but, now that I understand experientially what old people meant when they talked to me in my youth of 'really feeling the cold deep in their bones', I have been known to double or treble up - yesterday, for example, wooly scarf, thinsulate beanie, padded, quilted hoodie, multi-coloured wool round-neckand three layers of cotton - t, shirt, jumper. And I could still feel a chill.

Just treated myself to a Fisherman's woolly cardigan. Am feeling suitably dressed for the season.
I've got several knitted jumpers that I have to practically seal away to stop the moths getting to them.

I have a lot of jumpers and thermal tops. My current favourite is a wooden black polo neck affair. My old favourite was another similar jumper that looked like I was a u- boat captain or so everyone told me.

Most of the time I am wearing longsleeved white tee's and merino turtlenecks.

I just watched that Beatles show so I'm lamenting an old fuzzy-wuzzy dumb looking jacket that I wore when I had even less taste than I do now.
