Some interesting thoughts for sure. I thank you all for contributing.
I think the most telling part is very near the end, where the interviewer asks 'what are your responsibilities as an actor?'. Very smart question, that - instead of asking 'are you responsible for her death?', which of course would not go down well at all, he rejigs the question, makes it general rather than specific to this case, and catches Baldwin off guard. His answer - basically, that from this point on, actors have to be careful to check the weapons they use on-set - is an open and honest as he's been throughout the encounter, and is as close as we're going to get to an admission of guilt from AB.
For what it's worth, I believe everything he says - apart from the 'what - did she FAINT? what HAPPENED?' stuff, which is such obvious bullshit I'm surprised he had the balls to say it out loud. I suppose he didn't want to say what he REALLY thought at that moment (which I'd be willing to bet was 'oh my God I've killed her' - or something very close to that).

Feel sorry for Baldwin, though I know for some he is not a sympathetic figure, funny if this were a conservative Hollywood figure there would be all kinds of crazy conspiracy tosh about him being framed. Yet those are very kind of people that would try something like this to humble an arrogant liberal... The director and the armorer are probably more in danger of being charged, as there is a long history of film sets running well because of protocols and processes. Something went wrong there, somebody in the chain of action was careless. Most armorers are older, you need to really establish your credibility=safety record, she got a short cut because of her father, and also because she was cheaper than others, I suspect.
The last big film set tragedy was the train killing in Georgia in the early 00s, the director got three years for negligence, I believe.

I think in a situation like that there would be a VERY strong inclination to immediately second-guess what your eyes and intellect are telling you.

He was producer of the film too.
It smells fishy to me. The gun just went off? Whilst pointed at her presumably?
What the hell was a proper bullet doing in the gun anyway?
Hmmmmm….

Apparently some of the crew had used the weapons earlier in the morning, or later the night before for target shooting, which should have never happened. The guns should have been locked up with no access except through the armorer.

I lean to believing Baldwin.
The thorough preparation that has gone into telling his side of the story, covering all ground however, isn’t very becoming.

Feel sorry for Baldwin, though I know for some he is not a sympathetic figure. He's a master manipulator. I saw parts of this interview. Even though the crew walked off the set for various reasons, he was having a great time. I know that producer can sometimes be a title, but if you're going to take the job seriously and you are on the set every day, he should have known things were bad. Never should have happened to the poor woman. A child is unnecessarily going to grow up without a mother.
