I just finished reading some short tales by Pushkin and have taken to watching short movies available on YouTube. I much prefer these to the endless ten episode six part netflix style of programming. There are exceptions of course. There are some wonderful short films on YouTube ,Omeleto make good ones and the German movie Toyland was fantastic. Do you also enjoy the shorter format or are generally non- plussed? It seems to be a nice change from the investment television currently on offer. Any short movies to recommend ? I used to read a lot of science fiction and horror shorts, reader's digest used to do compendiums at one time didn't they.

Readers Digest did do "abridged" versions. We had some as a kid. Even then, I felt like I was reading part of a book.
