Did Dave at least warn you when he saw all those pans falling from god knows where, John?

Had a good time in Boise - one of those moderately-sized cities that has a nice combination of modern amenities and natural beauty. Lots of good food options downtown - friends who live or have lived there all say it's a surprisingly good and diverse food city, though we had unfortunate luck as some of our preferred choices were closed for the day. Still enjoyed where we went. It's in a red state, but it's a liberal enclave within it.
Travelled through Idaho and Montana today and we're staying near Yellowstone's west entrance. Planning on exploring the park for the next two days and part of a third (with hopefully some Grand Teton in there as well).
It's cold but not snowing yet (it's supposed to start tonight).

Remember, it's spelled "geyser," and not "geezer." And don't do this. . .

Heading home today from Mesquite, NV, our final stop.
70 degree gap between our coldest temperature of the trip - 27 in Yellowstone - to our hottest. 97 in Mesquite.
Hopefully the kitties are still speaking to us.

Hopefully the kitties are still speaking to us. I initially read -27 for Yellowstone and thought "What the hell? How come so cold this time of year especially??" Idiot! And the sad thing is what made me realize I had read it wrong is that the gap between -27 and 97 is way larger that 70 degrees! Double idiot. Anyway, hope you had a lovely trip and that it was pretty much what you were hoping for?
