That 'Atom Heart Mother Suite' is trippy as it gets! I digs it greatly.

That 'Atom Heart Mother Suite' is trippy as it gets! I digs it greatly. I absolutely wore the grooves out on that thing when I was a teen. Those were fun times to collect a catalog from an old band who had "gone through a lot of stages" cause...every time you bought one of their records blindly, it was just as likely to be AHM as it was to be Piper.

A snapshot of the Floyd in 1971, which was some sort of peak for them. Again, if you want to know their personalities, all you have to do is spend an hour with them. www.youtube.com/watch?v=OcwbxVIhn1I(I thoroughly enjoyed this, by the way.)

I've just watched this on Sky Arts. It's very good, the best and most evocative telling of the story I've seen. What is quite sad is the number of the deceased that get a dedication at the end. It was ten years in the making, so you end up seeing dedications to people you've just been watching as prominent talking heads throughout the film (Mick Rock, Duggie Fields, Storm Thorgesen etc..) Recommended.

Ah, I recorded that. I'll watch it tomorrow.
