I finally heard I'm So Free: The 1971 RCA Demos, which came out as a RSD LP (they just put it out as a hi-res download). Pretty fun.
This is the first song on it, and for me the first surprise - the intro, not used on Transformer, later had another song built around it - "Ennui" from Sally Can't Dance. Waste Not, Want Not.

The physical releases of the Pickwick comp seem to have been pushed back a few weeks for some reason, but it hit the blogosphere today. I've listened to it, and it's really fun - even the songs Lou isn't noticeably audible on (there are a surprising number of "girl group" songs).
