Hmm... not sure what to make of the Comet one, everybody looks campy, and also ill fitted for their roles. I guess Di Caprio was always destined to become Russell Crowe. They could have just gotten Juliette Lewis to play the Jennifer Lawrence character, as she's a dead ringer for herself. At least it is on Netflix, so I won't have to directly pay for it, nor go into a theater. As I wouldn't do either for it. I am beginning to notice Netflix is terrible at movies, but decent at TV (series). Suppose to gointo the 60s F today after lots of 40s, should nice, feels like a friday already. Carry on.

I think one JL is nearly as talented as the other. Jennifer seems somewhat less likely that Juliet to wake up next to one with a knife to one's throat. I suppose that could be seen as a good thing or a bad thing depending on yer politics.

The way Jennifer gushes about Jonah Hill's "improvs" you'd think he was actually improving on the script, rather than just saying "funny" things that such a character would never actually say.
Then again, considering how bad this whole thing appears, maybe that does qualify as an improvement.

Wasn't it? I enjoyed it way more than I'd expected. Maybe because the original TV bits only featured about 3 minutes of them really, just padded out with videos. You didn't expect they'd have the ideas to make a 90-minute movie.
I love the way they haven't fucked with the formula either - Mike Judge must be using the original sheets from 30 years back, the faces haven't changed at all.

For a long time I had a pic of Gala, from behind, by Dali, on my wall. The definition of femininity and beauty.
I’ll watch this
