I think we'll give up on John responding. Instead a track for Davey. Heard this the other day and thought it might be up his street. At first I thought it was gonna be the Rundgren track (which I love, of course). But I was pleasantly surprised to hear this one from Tobias Jesso Jr., a guy I’ve heard a little by and always meant to investigate further. The song itself is both lovely and a little unspectacular (not in the sense of being drab…but rather just kind of humble). The arrangement really uplifts it though. Once those strings kick in, it all kind of comes together. So yeah - thanks. Dug it! |
