FilmographyOne of britian's most underrated actors? When i hear he's in something it does make me want to watch. He can do a bit of everything i reckon. Marty scorsese loves him apparently. The last class thing i see him in was the Virtures. He had this one scene in a pub, where he tries too hard to get in with the locals, then gets upset when they kinda turn on him. I've been in enough pubs to see this happen. He played it so well, then his drunken rant/preach after was top notch acting i thought. Thoughts on him?

A few years ago I'd probably have agreed he was underrated, but he's so ubiquitous these days (he literally seems to be in every drama) that I'm starting to see his limitations. I still think he's good though.

I still think he's good though. Agree with this. Markus is right about his performance in Shane Meadows' The Virtues, which I'd wholeheartedly recommend if you haven't seen it. I don't think I've seen Graham do better. The last episode was a bit far-fetched but there were some scenes which made you feel like you were intruding on some private disaster, a person falling apart. He's outstanding when he plays closer to home. Fuck knows what he was doing in The Irishman. He does a good job, but why him? It was an odd bit of casting, there must be 500 talented Bostonians in Hollywood who need the work more.

Marty recruited him for the The Irishman, Pesci wasn't a fan at the start as he knew the real person. He made a point of telling Graham, but they were friends at the end of the film.
