Watched these two in the last few nights - I'd seen them both before: Seen this many times before. It only gets better and better. Last saw it when I was about 10. I know, you're thinking: "Don Knotts in space? How could it miss?" Well, I did enjoy it, but it takes forever to get anywhere (let alone outer space), so I'll stop short of recommending it. It's no The Incredible Mr. Limpet, that's for sure.

I like Mr. Limpet and the Ghost and Mr. Chicken better. Mr. Limpet (which I have seen in the last year) is really fun. Mr. Chicken is another one I haven't seen since I was a kid - I'm sure I'll get around to revisiting it one of these days!

Limpet is a notch above the others IMO. It has a lot of heart. The others have some laughs (I like “mr chicken” & “shakiest gun”)

There's a great running joke in The Ghost and Mr. Chicken. Everytime Don Knotts' character makes a speech, an anonymous voice will call out, "Attaboy, Luther." It's the screenwriter.

"shakiest gun in the west" isn't nearly as good as "the ghost & mr. chicken" or "incredible mr. limpet" mainly because it's been done so many times - the guy thinks he's a better gunfighter than he actually is.
those other two are pretty original. it's hard not to compare "shakiest" with better films.

on time. on budget. too bad that budget appears to be nothing. the stars certainly help. they say OW wanted Agnes Moorhead for the EG Robinson role. hmmm. inneresting.
I think it's a little clunky. Welles is getting good at playing bad guys.

I saw "snowpiercer" I'm wondering if the TV series will have the same savage backbone that the movie has. it probably will. my adult daughter was watching a Harley Quinn cartoon and I could have mistaken it for nineties batman cartoons if people hadn't been saying the F word and swimming in pools of blood.
I guess we is all sophisticated now.
"snowpiercer" was pretty good. I like movies that need to fit the story in a severe limitation. the whole thing takes place on a train in the "oh my god, what have you done" future. I'd give it a C plus. I'll tell you, sometimes I think Tilda Swinton might be fully capable of Peter Sellars level acting.
