As promised, here is the link for the playlist I have done on Deezer. deezer.page.link/Jp7DAXDchKeXTho38Not sure if it can be imported from Spotify (the opposite does work). So far it's got from 1950 up to 1995. There are a few (maybe 4-5) tracks missing because they were not available, or at least I couldn't find them. Also there may be some mistakes at picking the right track, because of different takes, mixes or maybe live tracks when they shouldn't be. Anything you detect, please let me know and I will correct it. I will continue adding tracks as the project goes on.

Good work, os! I'm going to have to remember my Deezer login details, I don't think I've used it in over 10 years (I don't use Spotify, either). That's a big list of music to get through.

thanks for mentioning! next time I end up on Deezer I'll certainly check it out. I'm on Spotify now but they'll have the bad taste to expect me to pay them money pretty soon. the very idea!

I just did the run of tracks from Funhouse to Famous Blue Raincoat, and it was pretty bloody good, to be honest. Only track I felt the need to skip was The Pretty Things.

I think it's a keeper. I have been playing the list at random during my retired man walks, and it provides an excellent mix of well-known and unknown tracks (at least for yours truly) that really works for me. In this contest I can gladly tolerate and almost enjoy genres that are far from my usual comfort zone.

Not sure anybody but me does care, but updated to 2005. The only issue I have with it is it's a monster list. You should have it ordered by date descending so that all the 50s and 60s chaff comes at the end, and all the interesting stuff loads first.

I agree with you about it being too large. Sorry to have sorted it chronologically olders first, but cannot change it now - I have had to place songs in the middle of the list when it was already built and it is a tough task. My approach is to have it played at random and when I feel like staying in the time being played, disable the random order.
I might divide the playlist into decades once we finish. It wouldn't be difficult.

Anyway, your last sentence doesn't sit too well with the fact that preludiners seem to be jumping off as time goes by...
