You can say shite in the office but shit is/would be frowned upon. At home, the cat doesn't care what I use really. Funny, the original question, the way it is proposed, can easily be misinterpreted as going beyond language ==> The North and Scotland are shite but the South is (most certainly) shit. Right? Right?
