How you do anything. Is how you do everything.
A massive generalisation or something you recognise in yourself or others?

Interesting to me that no one is really having a go at answering the question.

I definitely do swimming differently to walking.
I'm not even sure what the question is.

At its most basic, as Snee said, do you do everything half-assed ? Or if you are fastidious at work then are you the same when preparing a meal, decorating the house or when book a holiday. If you never finish things on time at work, do you have finish the dishes or complete projects.
I mean, it's self explanatory, surely?

I'm one of extremes, a bit anyway. When I do something fastidiously, I'm annoyingly slow, methodical and and detail-oriented as feck. For example, when preparing a stir fry say, it takes me forever to get every piece cut to exactly the same size.
But when I'm not being like that, I'm at the opposite end. I'll do stuff half-arsed in incompletely.
I blame my addiction to habits. When a habit forms in me, it's there to stay, strongly. Sometimes that's good, but at other times, let's just say much less so.

False for me. If I don't like to do something, it's half assed, if I enjoy it, I'll pay attention to detail. I do as good a job as possible at work because I realize I'm lucky to have this job. When cleaning the house, I do such a poor job, my wife will do it again as soon as I'm finished.

False..I can be detailed and half assed in equal measure, depending on the task or project..

I have a strong will to finish tasks properly, and most of the times that's what I do. But then, I have a trend to think about what I'm going to do next while I'm doing something. This creates some stress and may lead to leaving things pending to be finished while I jump between different matters. Eventually I get things done, but maybe not in the most efficient way. I'm the same at home as I was at work.
I guess that means 'true'.
