I certainly don't remember it.
'Hammond Song' is a beautiful piece of music

I remember seeing them for the first time on Saturday Night Live.
I thought to myself, "This is a band to avoid."

I love it. Their first three albums were inconsistent, but all had some real gems.

I love 'em. Tis the season! I've been streaming tracks from their "we three kings" XMAS album for most of last month. it's patchy and overproduced but that was sadly true of anything they did that wasn't produced by FRIPP.
I saw them twice. THIS was the highlight both times...
after both shows, they could have asked anybody in attendance to sleep on their couch and the answer would have been yes. they were goddam lovable. I guess Maggie had a lot of problems before she passed. they put out a comp. of her songs and it was pretty strong. I get that maybe a little goes a long way but I just LOVE the way the Roches voices go together. they aren't often really harmonizing with each other, are they? the voices just sort of go together in a weird way.
Splendido!
