No, just the amount of love for the Wedding Present! Maybe not love, exactly, but more affection than they usually get here. They were excellent live - saw them at Newcastle Riverside shortly after the release of George Best and they blew the roof off. They're fine. Lot worse out there. Never feel the need to listen to them now, but at least they didn't have a singer called Fish. Gedge always seemed a good sort.

First proper gig I saw was Marillion.(I know this is a bit of a twist on JC's intended thing of posting songs, but..) Can't think of much more embarrassing than that. Did you sway to the music or pout at the back with an eight pound pint of piss in a plastic pot.
