And what about artists/bands whose debut was their ONLY album?

Question: Where do you stand on solo albums from band members? Is Plastic Ono Band a debut? Also, what about artists' subsequent bands? For example, is Sound on Sound by Bill Nelson's Red Noise considered a debut? it's more of a one-off, and he was many years into his career by then, but it is the first/only album by Red Noise. I asked about this and got nothing but rudeness

Here's mine, done quickly and without too much thought. Feels right, but the rankings have no bearing really, love them all. Stuck just to rock, pop and blues, so no hip hop or jazz which would have made it impossible.
The Doors – S/T Van Halen – S/T Little Richard – Here’s Little Richard Ramones – S/T Jimi Hendrix Experience – Are You Experienced
The Stooges – S/T Television – Marquee Moon Pixies – Surfer Rosa Radio Birdman – Radios Appear Howlin’ Wolf – Moanin’ in the Moonlight
The Band – Music From Big Pink Hoodoo Gurus – Stoneage Romeos Madonna – S/T Supergrass – I Should Coco Bo Diddley – S/T
Blondie – S/T The Soft Machine – S/T Suicide – S/T The Teardrop Explodes – Kilimanjaro Wire – Pink Flag

See ?
It is almost impossible for most of us to present a list omitting records that in our opinion belong in a personal top twenty.
Pointless exercise.

And what about artists/bands whose debut was their ONLY album? That seems pretty clearly allowable. That is, I can't think of a reason it shouldn't be?
