I've heard it described as 'joyous', which....I don't know, I'm not sure about.
His voice isn't exactly improving, either.

It's a grower.
I've played it several times now and while i stull have a few reservations about its sound i have enjoyed it more than anything he has released in about 20 years. There's a humanity to it that is very deep and touching.

^ I tried to watch some of it yesterday but 2 of the first 3 audience questioners annoyed me so I ended up stopping. I'll try watch some more this weekend.
