"Many moons ago, dear Preludiners, JC suggested I try to make a list of my 100-odd favourite songs. It was not easy, but I must admit I found it pleasing to try and distill decades worth of musical loves down to such a small figure.

I like lists like this because you always choose different track from what I like best and that makes for more interesting playlists.
I'm not keen on the Visage, the Dinosaur Jr or the Radiants but I like or love the rest.
As for the Stooges, I too am a 'debut kinda guy' but I love most of Fun House. I would probably never choose Loose while compiling my own playlists so, as I said, this helps me to knock up something a bit different.

Not sure we can cope with this addition without a separate post and poll.. I was just worried about filling the music board with another 8 threads about my favourite 100 songs, thought maybe keeping the rest in this thread might be better. I don't know. |
