B. By virtue of that funky-ass keyboard. “Neo Terra” sounds like Chuck Mangione ate a can of Spinach.

Best tie in the round so far.
I like the Hubbard. That seventies jazz fusion thing is right up my street. The rhythm stuff is wild and wacky. I keep finding the ‘one’ and then losing it.
I can listen to Holmes all day long, but this isn’t top notch. I can live without the dialogue samples as well.

Fuck me what a load of old poo.
Whoever picked A wants working on.
B is one of those "cool" soundtrack thangs you got in the 90s. Bit retro, bit current etc. Yawn.

This match like two separate stages in whatever degenerating condition developed in fusion over the years. A I suppose.

a - I don't know if I mentioned it before, but I don't like fusion, and have an aversion to the tone of an unmuted trumpet. That said, this isn't utterly appalling, but I checked out after three minutes 2.5 / 10 b - oh, swearing, not big or clever, you cunt. And that's rather a horrible noise the instruments are making in the intro. Oh hang on, that's not the intro, that's the whole track. Have I ever mentioned how I don't like movie sound tracks? gave that one three minutes and all. 1.5 / 10 Neither deserves to win in my view, but I'll vote for A to level it up

Two uninspired choices. A must've been drunk when they chose this one, but well, y'know...

I like the playing on A, it's Hubbard obvs, but not being familiar with his '70s stuff I was pretty underwhelmed by the porno grooves in the background. B is Holmes doing what Holmes does, Starbucks grooves with dated film dialogue spliced in. Pleasant enough but nothing I'm going to rush to spin again and I'm sure he made better records.
B I guess because it's closer to being a good pick from the artist.
