Thirded. It's as good as anything I've seen. There's something totally believable about the characters and the decisions they make and it's brilliantly paced and plotted.

As good as The Wire I'd say.

Succession. Absolutely superb.
I'm also watching the Name of the Rose series, which fulfils my medieval manuscript needs. It's shit, mind.

All these dreary foreign dramas or historical borefests You're missing out on Spiral. That's better than pretty much anything.

Just finished watching all the seasons of Peaky Blinders - really enjoyed it. Super cast, excellent production and writing too.

Anyone watching Giri Haji? Finished it yesterday. Enjoyed it a lot. Somewhat implausible... great last episode-if you’ve seen it you’ll know what I mean. Surreal, and slightly affecting sequence. the dodgy London geezer criminal was fucking hilarious.

Surreal, and slightly affecting sequence. the dodgy London geezer criminal was fucking hilarious. Good to hear. I really enjoyed the first four or five, but the last couple I saw (think I've finished 6 - I'm losing count!) the plot seemed to be running out of steam and I found the methods to keep the motley crew of the central characters together increasingly contrived. I was debating whether to continue, but hearing it ends strongly encourages me and I'll continue with it!
