I just started The Watchmen. It's really, really intriguing so far, and I'm curious to see where it ends up going. Holy shit, this show is incredible. And I'm not a "superhero" guy at all.

I saw a bit of one last week and it was embarrassingly unfunny, just really puerile. There was barely any material there at all, but I've never been a big fan.
Probably not the answer you wanted...sorry!

I'm enjoying The Sinner on BBC 4. The kid in it gives an amazing performance.

Not the best thing I've seen on TV (Twin Peaks: The Return wins that crown), but it's right up there near the top of the list.

The Undateables is back! I LOVE that show! Never heard of it. Looked it up ... freak show for the modern era? Not sure I'd be comfortable watching. Not trying to be judgmental on viewers but I do question the making of it.

I don't watch TV but I will catch up with stuff on some things on BBC iplayer. Occasionally I'll have a month or two with Netflix but the sheer amount of shite on there .. ooff. I have just started a free trial with Britbox though, so catching up with stuff from years ago.
I've read a few of Val McDermid's Tony Hill books so trying the Wire In The Blood series and finding that the Robson Green fellah in it isn't annoying enough to stop watching. Which is nice. Not a patch on the books but enjoyable enough. I like Hermoine Norris's no-nonsense, "oh shut up" style of cop.

Just watched the Christmas episode of the Great British Bake Off and caught Roy Wood performing during the closing credits for a grand total of about 1 second of screen time.

I watched the very last The Office (UK) again last night - the one mostly taken up by the Christmas party. I'd forgotten how good the whole thing was, the romance between Tim and Dawn beautifully and sympathetically done, and Gervais in much more multi-dimensional mode than anything else I've seen him in (including earlier episodes of this show). It really was a treat.

I dare say this is better than a lot of the shite on TV now.

Currently watching this on Netflix. It's fantastic so far, I'll say more when I've finished it.

Godless is excellent. One of the best things on Netflix.
I've enjoyed what I've seen of the 3 part Dracula adaptation on the BBC, but apparently the last episode is a bit of a disaster.
Currently watching the C4 Who Dares Win SAS survival thing, which is always good entertainment.

I thought the Dracula was a bit tedious and a wasted opportunity. A bit contrived in its diversity too. If each episode was just one hour, with less of the ‘clever’ dialogue, it would have been more successful.
