The Traitors is back and I binge watched the first three episodes. Fantastic entertainment as always.

I saw the first episode of The Traitors last night, didn't know you could actually get any of the others yet. I loved the first series, and recently watched all of the Australian version, too. Have to say, I found some of the Claudia Winkleman bits excessively cringeworthy. The "traitors oath" nonsense, and the straight to camera envelope delivery thing was beyond cheesy.

I can tolerate all the 'window dressing', it's really the round table arguments, manoeuvrings and backstabbing I watch it for. I like that it's very unpredictable. The Australian series 1 was the best one I've seen.

The Traitors is back and I binge watched the first three episodes. Fantastic entertainment as always. I think I'm the only one watching this, but it was a pretty amazing series, better than series one. Jaz did well to get as far as he did, but badly blew it at the end.

There was nothing left that Jaz could do. Andrew blew it by realising too late that a traitor would have to be found, and he just blundered in with no plan.

I took great delight in watching Harry's simpering female admirer realising how she had been 'had'. Harry played a good game, considering his face gave him away if anyone thought he might be a traitor. Fishy is right,Andrew just didn't grasp ,until it was too late that he was the fall guy.

He could have voted Harry rather than Andrew. His only chance was to get Harry out. He was never going to persuade Mollie, although she prevaricated more than I thought she would.

Fishy is right,Andrew just didn't grasp ,until it was too late that he was the fall guy. Oh I think he knew from the beginning, he said as much several times in the diary room. He just didn't know what to do about it. I think he was a bit intimidated by the power Harry had over the group. He did try planting a few seeds against Harry, but no one really picked up on it.

Y’all be watching strictly next I have managed for several years to miss Strictly, EastEnders, celebrity, dancing on ice the voice and x-factor. I actively despise so much television these days.

Possibly the nerdiest post I'll ever make, but you have to look at this logically. The only scenario which doesn't result in a Harry win is on the first vote, with 5 people remaining. As soon as Evie is gone, you have a Harry/Mollie block vote, which can't be beaten (only equalled, and everyone is suss of Andrew or Jaz).
At this point, Evie is a dead woman walking, because of Zack's Shield Theory (ZST). The non-Harry people with knowledge that this theory is bollocks are Andrew and Evie. Andrew also knows who the other traitor is. He has to change the game now, or else Harry inevitably wins. He needs to raise the issue that ZST may be bollocks, as Evie is faithful. He only needs to convince Jaz (who is suss of Harry) and Evie, who also knows that ZST is bollocks, as she is a Faithful, and looking dead in any other scenario. 3 votes against 2, Harry is voted out. Anyone can win from that point.
No-one else has the necessary knowledge to change the game on that first vote. All other realistic scenarios are a Harry win.

I agree that first round of voting was the best chance of getting Harry out, but Andrew and Jaz were too cautious and still playing the game individually. Evie was a bit of a lost cause. She knew from Jasmine's banishment, that the whole shield theory was total gaslighting and she should have been able to trace it back to Harry as the owner of the shield. But she seemed too emotionally exhausted and resigned to properly process the information. She didn't even mention it at the round table when fighting for her life. I think you're underestimating the second round of voting though. Jaz had the chance to make it a tie between Andrew and Harry, that was his golden opportunity. We don't know how the producers would've resolved that, but if it'd been a coin toss or something, then it still gives him a 50% chance of getting Harry out. If that happens he goes into the last three with Mollie and Andrew which would have resulted in a Mollie Jaz win. The 50% chance was better odds than going against Harry and Mollie in the final three. Jaz miscalculated badly in my view.
