I have managed for several years to miss Strictly, EastEnders, celebrity, dancing on ice the voice and x-factor. I actively despise so much television these days. so what is it about this fuckin cobblers that's got you all in such a tizz? Give it a go John! There's probably too many spoilers in this thread for you to enjoy the recent UK one, but they've just put Australia season 1 on the iplayer and that's really excellent. There's so many twists and turns that it becomes really enthralling.

The second round of voting, Andrew cocked that up, too. Instead of coming up with a reasonable theory as to why Harry was a traitor, he basically went to Jaz and said Harry's a bastard. Basically ran up to him with a big hat saying traitor on it.

The Australian one is great, going to start the 2nd series after a week or two break. I love the fact one of the contestants (Paul) was basically edited out of the series for being a dick.

Basically ran up to him with a big hat saying traitor on it. At the table he made a good case for saying Harry was a traitor, pointing out how he'd always been one step ahead of everyone and was the one who was always pushing for traitor elimination. Of course in saying that he was virtually outing himself as a traitor too. At that point Jaz knew they were both traitors and should, therefore, have gone for Harry as the greater threat. But he played it safe so he could get a majority vote. And it was that which ultimately blew his chances.

Yeah, by the time I got to the end of season one, I was ready to binge. By the time I got to mid-season two, I was bingeing. By the time I got to the end of seasons two, I was sad to be waiting for more. Which is where I remain. Enjoying the second season quite a bit more than the first. Really like the way each episode (so far, anyway) focuses on one individual and gives you a bit more background. And the performances are excellent - every one. And I'm developing a bit of a crush on Ayo Edebiri.

What can I say? I know the song is broad, cheesy, treacly, etc., but...this documentary was really well done. I might stop just short of "riveting", but...deeply engaging and entertaining.

Yeah, I watched it on Saturday and was pleasantly surprised. It seems like someone isn't too fond of Al Jarreau, though...

So...after years (and decades now) of friends quoting and referencing and raving, I finally forced myself to go in last night. I think I watched the first three episodes. I don't know what I was expecting, but...I'm not getting a ton out of it. Sure, there's laughs here and there, but...with Cross and Odenkirk as the creators, I feel like it falls fairly short (thus far) of any reasonable expectation I might have. Is there some argument to be made that it finds its feet as it goes along, or...is it me?

Anyone done ‘Kin’ yet?
First season was pretty good. Irish gangster stuff, with a fucking weird-looking Ciaran Hinds and Daredevil.
No spoilers.
One of the better thrillers from this soide of the Atlantic, to be sure.

This Michael Sheen thing where autistic and disabled kids ask him questions is absolutely wonderful. I've never seen anything quite like it. I've been moved to tears a few times. BBC 1 - The Assembly
