Yeah, a crucial game for both managers and difficult to call.

Chelsea are already favourites for the title.
I can see Arsenal beating Spurs.

Yeah, a crucial game for both managers and difficult to call. how are you feeling about the game, G? you tend to sit on the fence. would be good to see you getting off it for once.

It's difficult to know. They have pulled together some results, but without playing particularly well. I'd make them slight favourites.

There was an interesting remark the other day from Paulo Fonseca who claimed he turned down the Spurs job because the Director of Football told him he would have to play defensively.

Another impressive result for the Hammers. Slightly fortunate at times, but we were battering them at the end and a goal felt inevitable. Whilst I still think there is room for improvement upfront, it seems like goals are in plentiful supply from other areas.
This is the most confident I've been as a Hammers fan in my lifetime. The side is strong, is set up very well on the counter-attack, has quality in most positions and will need big money to prize off the best players, which I hope Moyes can invest wisely.

Yeah, it is a bit of a fairy-tale. He was obviously a physically impressive player, but Moyes, like with Arnautovic, has turned him into a frighteningly powerful striker. The roulette spin for the goal whilst running at full pelt and then accurate finish was proper quality. It would be fantastic if he was amongst the top scorers this season. A lovely denouement to West Ham's striker woe for the last decade.

What about when you had Cottee and McAvennie upfront? You finished third that season.
