I'd argue that Labour's decline in the north has as much to do with people tiring of ineffectual and unrepresentative Labour-dominated councils than parliamentary factionalism.

....and their perceived "love" of Jewish people.

Starmer decisive in sacking RLB over anti-semitic mentalism in a post she retweeted.
A lot of all of this is just being good at making decisions and appearing decisive. Johnson isn't particularly decisive at the best of times, so all you have to do is to make tough decisions quickly and immediately you look more efficacious.

I'm having difficulty finding out.

You could argue strongly that RLB retweeting it isn't necessarily showing that she's anti-semitic herself. However, it's not a great view speculating that the Israeli police are behind the death of George Floyd without any sort of coherent evidence.
It's messy, he might have stoked a beehive, and yet he's probably done the right thing.

He's gone too far. It's obvious he wants to be seen as 'decisive' and that's the reason for this - not that it was the right thing to do. A warning would have been enough.

RLB has tweeted a good defense.
I suspect he didn't like her anyway, loathes the Corbynites and was looking for any excuse to boot her out. Fair enough I reckon. That's what Politics is about.

Well, one step closer to being electable, that's for sure.

Erm. This coming from someone who posted a tweet from "Zionist Report" the other day.

You're all missing the point.
Criticising the Israeli police or secret services is not spreading an anti-semitic conspiracy theory.
He's got this wrong.

The article has been amended and edited since I'm afraid.
It was a bit shabby and I guess Labour and Starmer in particular are jumpy about any sort of link to any anti-semitism, however vague the connection is.
Should Starmer have sacked RLB? In an ideal context, a warning should have sufficed, but as I said earlier, he clearly wants to make Labour electable and will jump at the slightest chance to boot out any Corbynistas. If I was in his shoes I'd do the same.
