I am suspicious of her for the same reasons you lot are, I do think they need an identifiable break from Corbyn, not so much in terms of policy, but in terms of presentation and style.
My own pretty limited impression of RLB, on one of the televised election debates, was that she came across as competent, with the facts at her fingertips, and principled. However there was something slightly robotic about her and she didn't display the kind of personality that I think people would warm to. We don't want to elect the red version of Swinson and Toby is right that how you come across is hugely important. I do though think labelling her as "childish" is rather unfair, I don't know what she's done to get that!
Lewis or Nandy for me.

Richard Burgon strikes me as the sort of goon who’d get far in a dictatorship.

He's absolutely the worst of all of them. A humourless dimwit with the personality of a pebble.
If either he or Fruit Pastille get senior positions then the party REALLY is finished.

I'm not sure what you're expecting..100% unanimity? There's going to be differences of opinion and different sides represented.

But this is the first thrust in the battle for "who is pure enough to be the leader". Bastani is questioning the motives of someone in Starmer's campaign because they also backed Owen Smith, who dared to run against St Jeremy - are they "from the left"?
Like all these things, it will not end well when people start talking about just how pure someone is.
