Mine doesn't have the sticker, took me a while to see it was even by Nordvargr, though I had my suspicions. *Edit - obviously not even this album, in the wrong CD case. No idea what it is. Certainly Nordvargr, anyway.

Lovely low-key, lo-fi late night coffee moody shenanigans.

Slow grinding guitars, something like a slightly more metal early Swans or Noxagt.

Camp techno thing with a strong disco edge and a puerile sense of humour. I love this thing.

Bill Laswell's funk-ish mutant disco-ish stuff. Which never really sounds that great to me.

Been watching Hip-Hop Evolution on Netflix recently, and just got past the Wu Tang one, lots of swearing and technical geekery about samplers.

The first Autechre album in a long time not to be hailed as the greatest work of art ever made. I'm taking this as a good sign, and the opening track is absolutely lovely, too.

Autechre proved to be boring again.

Debut album from horrorcore outfit with some ultra-fast rapping and occasional ndustrial tendencies. Some of their more recent stuff has sounded pretty good but this irritated the crap out of me when I first bought it, and I never really revisited it. Not as bad as I recalled, for the most part...

If Slayer's Reign in Blood is all the rock n'roll you'll ever need, this is the pop equivalent. Absolutely glorious.

Basically Clock DVA without their singer, Adi Newton, who I think got rid of 'em all after the brilliance of "Thirst", for some unknown reason. Skronky post-punk-funk thing.

It just lacks that special something, the bit of gravitas that DVA had. Better than most of the other UK bands doing this kinda thing though.
