I just found out there's a building in Toronto that appears to have been inspired by the Tommy album cover:

John Belushi playing "Sonic Reducer" with The Dead Boys: Belushi and Stiv taking drugs together is a story in itself, I'm sure.

Someone on YouTube has busted the Eagles - Henley, at least - for miming during "live" performances. I admit it - this makes me childishly happy. Fave comment: "Henley is so protective of The Eagles’ music that he won’t even let The Eagles perform it."

In moments here, Grace Slick looks uncannily like Dakota Johnson, no?

I've always loved the congas on Nick Drake's Cello Song. Found out today that it's the same guy, Rocky Dzidzornu, who did the congas on 'Sympathy for the Devil'.

In the line of work, I'm looking at a CD of The Weavers' Reunion At Carnegie Hall - 1963, and the bass player is Bernie Krause. Apparently, he was with them for about a year, before going to Mills College to study electronic music. Who knew?

This bloke is playing solo acoustic guitar every night on the Norwegian fjord cruise I'm on. He's pretty bloody good, literally just playing requests, which are coming from all kinds of eras and genres. This is one of his own songs, which he's played after someone googled him and requested it.
