I don't know how far this will go, but I like to make homemade food concoctions. For my son's breakast I made him some mash potatoes, cut up some kielbasa sausage, threw it in the microwave and mixed in some red salsa.
Yesterday, I bought a ton of meatballs, sliced up some carrots, bell peppers and onions and threw it in a slow cooker with marinara sauce and salsa for eight hours.
He loved both.

How did you do your mash. I'll let you know if you're doing it right.

Two garlic and coriander naan bread, some beef cold cuts (as the yanks would say), spicy cheese, chopped red onions. Make and cook/toast? like a Panini.
Proper bo i tell thee.

I can cook proper stuff with names atteched but I also love to assemble and eat Bachelor Chow, entirely dicated by leftovers and what I have in and around the fridge/kitchen/garden that's about to go over and out of date, mitigated by a cupboard full of table sauces, tapenades, vinegars, oils and various umami-rich stuff.
Tonight, though, I had soup.
Now that the thread's here, though, expect further bulletins.

When the kids were little and I didn't feel like making them something, I'd make pizza toast
Regular bread spaghetti sauce Parmesan Pepperoni slices
In toaster oven for five minutes.

I don't just throw things together willy nilly. Why, that would be foolish!
I remember as a student I'd mix up a can of Heinz beans and a can of tuna, heat it up. It wasn't the worst thing in the world. My nanna used to make a fancier version - kind of an Italian stew, cooked on the hob, with kidney beans and onions with the tuna.
