Found this while looking for a clip for the OHWS. For obvious reasons, could not use it, but crikey, how great is this?

I love this tune, been a fave for years now. Is it psych, garage, pop, all three? Doesn't matter, just turn it up.

What a songwriter she was. I love Tapestry now, an album i turned my nose up at regularly in my yoof. Her voice is limited as vocalist, but she has more than enough emotion to carry and lift her own songs.

Her voice is limited as vocalist, but she has more than enough emotion to carry and lift her own songs. Her first album, Writer, is decent, too. This is my favourite track, although I couldn't find a yoiutube that doesn't have some distortion on it - poor remaster, I guess.
And any excuse to play this 1966 single about the end of her marriage to Gerry Goffin, with multi-tracked vocal and some wild piano playing

I've always preferred Writer to Tapestry, myself.

Not that I'm mad for the song, but how often do you get to see Lemmy attempt the "Shadows walk"? (He seems surprisingly familiar with the guitar solo, too.)
