i think two of them are on their way out.
they are still eating, which i take as a positive sign. however, their breath stinks, which indicates kidney problems.
a pretty trivial thread which i'm sure G will be fuming about, but sometimes it's good to get things off your chest.

Sorry to hear, Adam. How many do you share your home with? How old are they? Do you have pictures?

And not as trivial as one of your one youtube vid 'isn't this the best thing ever?' efforts

Their breath could just be gum problems though. Not uncommon in older cats
I hope they keep on keeping on for some time yet. Such a joy, such a tonic.
Give them a hug and a kiss from me

cheers GB and ray! just pleased that G didn't chip-in with unsolicited advice, despite him not having a cat. technically, we have 5 cats, but the eldest now resides with my mother-in-law because she was bullied by the others. anyway, all are rescued from the street. still a terrible problem here in spain. in order of age: muffin. (the one that's living with my mother-in-law) beans - one of the cats i'm worried about julian - the other one i'm worried about patson - getting older and fatter, but still in good health billy - recently rescued and named after my old bcb mucker who never returns my calls

I feed six stray cats , one of the formerly pregnant cats now resides in my washing basket with her litter safe and warm. I now have a kitten on my lap who ran across the road last week and has never left. She sleeps in the bathroom sink.

Patson is my favourite Adam. I like tabbies, they're often friendlier than other cats.

Hope they are ok, skopey. GB's right though, bad breath could be a tooth/gum issue, so may be worth checking that out. I'll post pix of my feline trio later too when i'm home.
