Both fine, nothing earth shattering.
I'd always imagined Unrest to be some awful pneumatic drill kind of noise band. Not sure why.
A is slightly more enjoyable

Had to look for a working link...This should be the same song:
Anyway, nothing wrong with US3..Their conceit works sometimes, but I like the lo-fi simplicity of the Unrest track..Vote B

I like Unrest — one of the best bands of the 90’s and named after Henry Cow

I'm not sure I've heard anything from US3 other than their big Cantaloupe Island hit. This certainly lacked the sparkiness of that and was all a little nondescript to be honest. The guitar refrain in B got very monotonous and it was pretty dour and dull. Not a great tie to end with but A

I’m a little worn out on the US3 even though I like it. I’ll go B it sounds like a song they are learning to play as they play it. Kinda neat.

Pleasant enough groove and not much of a song for both of these. A I guess. So ends an uninspiring round.

I still think that Us3's version of Herbie Hancock's Cantaloupe Island is the dog's bollocks.
It makes the album start with a bang... but then it gets rather uneven before ending with a whimper (i.e., this track).
B wins this hands down by being quite alright.

I liked this tie, neither of them picks belonging to my neighborhood but pleasant enough, though both could do with some editing.
Vocals in the Unrest tune won me over.

Repetitive rap dirge is an unlikely choice for a cup winner, but I'm actually quite enjoying this. The backing loop is just the perfect length to be completely repetitive without ever not being repetitively repetitive in a repetitive way. Repetitively. But somehow it doesn't annoy me. I don't know why, I guess it might be because the comatose talkative guy doesn't seem bothered by it.
And I was expecting Unrest to be some screamo pick by fonz, but it seems to be a lo-fi mumble-jangle. Shouldn't have had a change of pace for the chorus, should've stuck with verse all the way, then this could've been the most repetitive round in history. And the chorus kinda sucks, as choruses (chori? choropodae?) often tend to do.
Not a bad tie all round. There really is something about that downbeat riff though, so I'll give it to B

A couple of rather uninspiring picks.
B is at least a little bit more interesting.

I really like both of these more than i initially thought. The riff in B is simple, but it sounds so pleasant it's hard to deny. And A isn't peak hip hop sure, but those samples (the main one is from a Donald Byrd 70s tune, 'Stepping Into Tomorrow') are really catchy and darkly moody. I'll go with B as more surprising...

I like A and its chirping crickets. Don’t like B at all I’m afraid.
