David Soul must have had a great life. Certainly in the 70s. HUGE hit TV series, a successful music career, and more mustard-coloured leather jackets than you can shake a stick at. I'd have loved that. For a while.

David Soul must have had a great life. Certainly in the 70s. HUGE hit TV series, a successful music career, and more mustard-coloured leather jackets than you can shake a stick at. Starsky's cardie was the one though, they became the hippest thing ever in the early 90s Lodon acid jazz scene. I remember Eddie P had one and my mate Barney who was the original drummer for Jamiroqui. I tried looking for one, but couldn't find it. Now you'd just buy it on ebay or something.

Maybe this isn't the appropriate time, but: for going on half a century now, I can't see or hear the words Starsky & Hutch without thinking of the MAD Magazine parody title, Husky & Starch. Sometimes the obvious gag really is the perfect one.
