Poll tomorrow. I might add something from Madness, Blondie, REM (think none of them mentioned), couple of left-field things maybe like Huskers, Cocteaus, Sugarcubes And something from The Cure, maybe this...

Agree with the Inner City track. I'd also add this:

Probably hasn't a hope in hell of making the poll...

Probably hasn't a hope in hell of making the poll... Actually (shock) I remember it and LIKE it! The Inner city track is cool too. The Roxy music pick is unfortunate. In my world the Nick Cave, Cure, TVP and Joy Division was where I was at. Ghost town by the Specials ( single wise) still sums up the decade of hairspray and awful jeans.

Probably hasn't a hope in hell of making the poll... It will be there, of course. Interesting that almost no US contributions. Maybe GAV is right

Did you see them in Glasgow? No, strangely I never did. I was the only person in my little group that liked them. I should have really. Biggest regret was being offered a ticket to see the Buzzcocks with Joy Division as support twice ! ( Literally weeks apart I think) Once in Aberdeen ( visiting my grandad) and later for Leicester ( because of a birthday party). I mean you would give your left nut to turn the clock back.

Yeah, I remember turning down a ticket to see The Stone Roses at Alexandra Palace and I was practically living next door to the venue at the time!
