I strained my lower back a couple weeks ago, by get this, moving my turntable, CD player, receiver and speakers, into the garage because I got a new all-in-one player and a couple smaller speakers. Injury by stereo.
My son and I took two huge walks this weekend and my hamstrings feel about an inch long. Lots of stretching because that will make my back act up again if I don't watch it.

I have thought about it, but I don't trust my son to not spin me around like a top when I hook myself in. Besides, I don't want to spend the dough on it.

Last time I went to the doctor's, he said my kidney function, based on blood tests, wasn't great. Not bad, but not great. Therefore, no ibuprofen or aspirin ever.

Think I might have the tiniest inkling of a bit of gout. Every so often I get a tingling in my big toe which threatens to become very painful and then immediately subsides.
Reckon I might need to drink much more water than I currently do.

DO IT!!!! I've had a couple of buddy's get it real bad - it appears to hurts like FUCK. they change their diet drastically and it becomes manageable eventually. hopefully you can keep it at bay. It does. It was the most excruciating pain I ever had the first time I got it. I had to gird myself for 20 minutes before I'd venture to the kitchen or bathroom from my living room couch. At first, I thought it was old basketball injuries in my ankles, and then I got it one night so badly it hurt when my bed sheet touched it. I had to haul myself to the ER at 4 am to get some anti-inflammatories. The normal medicine is Colcichine, which doesn't do much for me, but when it beginning to flare up, I take some Naproxen, which is another anti-inflammatory. That seems to work the best and a doctor will easily prescribe. Gout is a form of arthritis and the gout is crystallization that happens at the joints, thus the ankles and toes. Foods to stay away from: Beer. All alcohol is bad for gout, but beer's the worst. Stay away from any kind of sausage or anything made from offal, like liverwurst, etc. No mushrooms or cauliflower, but green vegetables and nuts are very good. I'd only recommend chicken. It's the lowest meat with uric acid, which is what gout is - a build up of uric acid. Cherries are good for preventing gout. They counter the uric acid. You can guy cherry gummies.

small change for you, surely! In Preludin pauperland, perhaps, but it's still a lot of dough. This comment has been bugging me since Skope's comment and my reply. I don't make a ton, well under six figures. I think people hear "tech" and "Silicon Valley" and we're all lighting cigars with our stock shares. Do I know people like that? I do, but unfortunately I'm not one of them. I'm a marcom mercenary.
