Bono's not ageing well is he? He's looking quite gargoyley these days.

I bet even G, on a good day, wakes up with a spring in his step, has a large cup of coffee, exits the house, stares up at a blue London sky and sings "It's a beautiful daaaaaaaa-aaaaaa-aaaay! Don't let it get awaaaaaaay!"It probably won't surprise you to know that I can't stand it. For me it's as banal as Westlife or Ed Sheeran today. Watch them do it at the desk with the gospel choir. If you do, don't come back to comment 🙂

I think it's just his hair dyed a light, dirty brown.
Edge keeps his hat on, I notice

I'm not convinced. I think he started to go a bit Edge and got his thatch done.
Edge's hat is just a trademark innit? I've seen him without it enough times to suggest he's not that sensitive about being bald.

While I'm here, do you have any other requests of me? Like wanting me to stick burning needles into my eyes or chop my fingers off with a rusty saw?

It's a mess. From the "Call Me" vocal chorus ripoff to the sub-London Calling guitaring. At least Bono's facelift doesn't look too awful. 2/10

*NEW SONG* *STEADY YERSELVES* *SONG STARTS 44 SECONDS IN* First time hearing that I am clearly out of the U2 loop these days... and it doesn't look like i have missed much. To my ears it sounds like a Green Day song, with guest vocals by Bono and Edge. There's no real dynamics in the sound or song to hook you in, and the chorus is instantly forgettable. A shame.
