I don't post much on here because there's not much TV I like! I did enjoy the Sellers doc though.

I liked the last guy that won it who reinvented traditional British pub grub and elevated it ( as they like to say).

That's more interesting for me because you expect a professional to cook brilliantly, but when an amateur starts churning out Michelin star standard food that's more impressive. But I do watch both and I prefer Marcus Wareing to John Torode.

Has anyone been watching this government show? Each episode a different minister comes on and says something really scary. It's in the apocalypse genre I guess, a bit like The Walking Dead. It's been pretty good, but it's been getting too samey recently. Not sure if it'll get a second series, although it's being pushed a lot in the scheduling.

Normal PeopleIf I described it to you it would hardly sell it. It's just about a couple of young students from different backgrounds who are in an on-off relationship. But the script and the direction and (especially) the performances are excellent. It's all in the subtle stuff. I seem to be the only person who dislikes that. I read the book, and thought it was pretty thin gruel for all the praise. When I heard it was being turned into a series, I thought it could only be done by dragging it out into a stereotypically slightly arty thing with lots of awkward silences and staring out of windows. Only saw the first couple of episodes, but didn't see anything to challenge my assumptions.
