I don't mind a little Oi Oi, the good stuff makes me nostalgic for the better Aussie pub rock I grew up with in the '70s and '80s. A little goes a long way though.

I'm largely with you, Ange, except that I like/love a fair bit of Cat Stevens' output, haven't heard Beautiful Freak or much Blue Nile, and enjoy... ohhhh... surely at least 30% of XTC's work.

I don't hate all of the Eels' music, just what I've heard.
But Freddie and the Dreamers?? Not as good as Billy J. Kramer, just for one example, but not terrible.
