I went down a small rabbit hole yesterday wondering whether a part of Toronto's waterfront known as "Echo Beach" was named after the Martha & The Muffins song, or vice-versa (it is named after the song), and while looking that up I discovered that the keyboard player from the band, Martha Ladly (not to be confused with singer Martha Johnson) went on to work with Peter Saville. It is her painting, Factus 8, that is on the cover of New Order's 'Everything's Gone Green' ep.
