a simple (VEGAN) digestive is the only biscuit i buy nowadays. back in the day, 'ol ma skope's biscuit barrel was well-stocked. jammie dodgers were my faves. surprised these aren't on 'dave's' list:

I thought I was the only one who knew about those chocolate covered wafers that are made by some German ( I think) company. The chocolate is seriously good!

The top tier ones? No wafer was probably the wrong word, more like thin biscuits. Yeah the ones in the top left.

Don't know some of the ones in the middle tiers, but surely Walkers at the high end and Oreos into the dumpster is only common sense? Don't know if you get these, but these are about the best I can think of that are easily available at the corner market: Always dark chocolate rather than milk chocolate for me.

The two biggest mistakes are putting the plain Rich Tea (grandma's old tin rations, wartime biscuits) at the top, and putting the very fine milk chocolate Hobnobs near the bottom. Inexplicable. Swap those two around, and it starts to look acceptable.
I like Oreos - is it the trans fat that people object to?

Rich Tea are deffo not 'god' status. They are shit.
Jaffa Cakes are Brandy Snaps are Dark Chocolate Homewheat are
I get the antipathy to Oreos, but I think that is just anti-American sentiment. They're actually ok. The biscuit is chocolatey. Dark chocolate-coated ginger biscuits also have supreme status.

The lass LOVES party rings. I buy her some every Xmas. Seriously, three packs are wrapped up in the bedroom all primed and ready for Xmas morning.

I find Hobnobs annoying. It's their faux rusticness, right down to the fucking name. They've only been around for about 20 years and want to appear like they've been around for ages.
Gimme a Digestive any day. The true King of biscuits.

It's the taste for me, though maybe you get different ones. The cream in the middle is tasteless glop to me, and the 'chocolate' cookie outside is chocolate in only the vaguest sense.
Trans fats aren't good for you, of course, but for something worthwhile I'll make the sacrifice. I'll take mine in hot fudge sundae form, thanks.

Plain digestives? You disagree with the idea that everything is improved by adding chocolate, then?
