Recently watched A Very English Scandal - brilliant Ridley Road - very good Age of Innocence - not bad Guilt- brilliant Vigil - good Next - had potential Only Murders in the Building - very good I thought Vigil, although it started off well and was initially intriguing, really took a nosedive. I didn't bother finishing it. One thing I did watch which I really enjoyed was The North Water which was excellent from start to finish. It wasn't full of improbable plot twists every minutes ( my current bane with modern drama) and was instead more character driven. I would recommend it.

It's on my list but Mrs Lemon thinks it's too gory/gritty for her.

I just watched the second series of Scotland's Fargo, Guilt. Highly recommended and wonderfully written/acted.

I don't want to sit off by myself so I've been watching things others are interested in. I know "Dune" is making money in movie theaters but I watched it on TV and it seemed like the long first episode of a TV series to ME. The producers are welcome to prove me wrong. it's not a slag. it's really quite good.
somebody got Apple TV by mistake so we're watching the first season of Ted Lasso. I think that lady playing the team owner is absolutely fabulous (to coin a phrase;)) the thing about sit-coms is the characters. rich bitch with an axe to grind is such a stereotype. finding such a skilled actor lifts the whole thing to another level for me. what a great character.

We've been watching Y: The Last Man. The basic premise: some mysterious event happens in which every single living thing on the planet with a Y chromosone dies in an instant... except for one man, and his pet monkey.
It's... not bad. I loved the comic book, and always thought it would make a fantastic tv series. And they've managed to add in some things that weren't in the comic, in good ways. But it just spends too much time focused on political intrigue side-stories, instead of focusing almost exclusively on the main character and those in is direct orbit.

Becoming a fan. It's like a lot of shows where you start by finding the central character kind of an annoying OTT joke 'device' but end up loving them. Co-written by Robert Popper, who did Friday Night DinnerThe third episode in the current (third) series is class.

Alias Grace on Netflix.
Kept me watching. The central performance was very good.

One thing I did watch which surprisingly hasn't been discussed on here was Four Hours at the Capitol.
I found this pretty gripping. I don't think I appreciated before how frightening it must have been. The fact the "protestors" were so unrepentant was no surprise, but still made you angry.

You've pretty much said all I had to say about it. Some of that new (to me) footage from inside the building realy hammered home the terror, yes, in a way that the stuff released in January hadn't reallly. I couldn't get angry at the deluded fuckwits (well maybe the preachy prat in the cowboy hat), felt sorry for them in the end. What lives they must lead.

Just watched the last of the fourth season of The Crown - I didn't realise it was the last one until it ended. It was good stuff but I preferred the first couple of seasons. Emma Corrin was a highlight and I think she's stunningly beautiful. Gillian Anderson's Thatcher was basically a caricature. And the wig was no good.
