I don't know if I was to go so far as to prescribe "gender neutral" because I think often both genders are naturally predisposed towards certain behaviours (boys tend to be more 'rough and tumble' in the way they play for example) and that's fine Born that way or encouraged to be that way? Born that way in my view, that's not to say the later doesn't also have a tremendous impact or influence.

I don't know if I was to go so far as to prescribe "gender neutral" because I think often both genders are naturally predisposed towards certain behaviours (boys tend to be more 'rough and tumble' in the way they play for example) and that's fine, but I do think wanting to avoid overt gender stereotyping in the way you bring up your child is quite a healthy thing. There's a reason, after all, why women have been grossly under-represented in the senior science professions for example. Both sexes can manifest masculine/feminine traits and of course some boys are very feminine and some girls are very masculine (tomboys) but parents should leave their children be and let 'em get on with it. That's the healthy thing whether it's a boy with a doll or a girl with a Tonka truck. Gender stereotyping exists because boys and girls have a natural predisposition towards certain things. Out of this emerged typical "boys" toys and typical "girl" toys. Men are into Things, Women are into People, right? The latter are social animals hence why I suspect young girls have a thing about dolls because dolls are little people they can talk to, nurture and look after so even that age their natural maternal, social instincts come through. Boys, however, are into Things hence why it's more cars planes or shit like that. In later life therefore men will tend to gravitate towards certain industries and sectors like engineering, IT and STEM whilst women tend to avoid these and whilst there are always exceptions that's why there are far less woman in STEM. It's psychology. Also, women don't chase status in the same way men do career wise and tend to prioritise family and children hence why you find a lack of woman sometimes in more senior positions in various sectors (this can also contribute of course to gender pay gaps). The left tends to like the blank slate explanation of human nature because A. it appeals to their utopian instincts and the idea that humanity can be perfected and bad things that are innate to our species removed and B. it appeals to them ideologically because if culture/society is what dictates/shapes human nature we can fundamentally change these things by revolutionising society. Hence why some fall for daft ideas like "gender is a social construct" and why the modern left sees lack of diversity in some areas not as an expression of various biological factors but of "system"/cultural issues that can naturally be fixed. Etc. So much of the worlds weirdness is really down to a denial of biology, how it dictates who we are and how it also, crucially limits us. People in the past, unburdened by current ideologies understood this stuff a lot more and built a system around it. We called this The Patriarchy, G lol I agree with bits of what you've written there, but find it very one sided and way too ideologically driven.

Irony. Discrediting the allegedly aggrieved for not being aggrieved enough. Kinda Cancel Culture 101, no? Selective outrage is easy enough to find on ANY subject if you look hard enough. I think I might need a crash course in exactly how this is going to cause Western Society to crumble. To be bothered by this stuff? Hey, your house, your rules. To claim that it's a systematic, growing crisis that infects the very fabric of our being? Gonna need a bit more I think.

Make peace with reality and your ideological worldview will fundamentally change.
