I think the arrangement is pretty snappy. I liked the vocal better without having to look at the cutesy video.

The arrangement is by-numbers only less, somehow managing to bypass all of the hooks Elton wrote into his without adding any new hooks to compensate. The vocalist has a rotten vibrato and doesn't seem to know or care what she's singing about - she's singing to the cameras, not to the listener. The whole presentation seems to say "isn't this a cute, funny idea? Aren't we clever for coming up with it? Aren't you lucky that we're sharing it with you?"
I can't say I like it very much.
